‘RX-100’ director Ajay Bhupathi files complaint against fraudster who contacts aspiring actresses and asks for money and personal details!!!

The news of people impersonating themselves to be a famous director and making calls to a few aspiring actresses, asking to send their photos and other personal details on WhatsApp has been increasing day by day.  At one point, he accused used actor Vijay Deverakonda's name to extort money from the women. Now the fraudster also pretended to be Ajay Bhupathi and discussed their availability.​

Director Ajay Bhupathi made his debut with the critically-acclaimed ‘RX 100’ starring Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput. The filmmaker is presently waiting to begin his second directorial venture. He has completed the script of Maha Samudram. He was supposed to do the film with Samantha and Naga Chaitanya, but the duo opted out of the project and he is yet to finalise the cast and crew of his upcoming film.

Ajay got to know that someone is misusing his name and approached the Cyber Crime Police to lodge a complaint with them. The police officials have begun tracing the phone number and are confident of arresting the fraudster soon. On Friday July 3, he took to Twitter to reveal that he has a filed a complaint against a fraudster with the Cyber Crime. In his complaint, he accused an unknown person who tried to trap women in the pretext of holding auditions. On Twitter he wrote, "Hello, I filed a Cyber Crime case against a fraudster (7995267901) using my name to trap women in the name of Casting Calls. The official announcements of my films will be out on Trusted sources only. Stay cautious & beware of such incidents happening around (sic)." ​
